XAVIbot Building Behavior Through Movement Video

How do you create a product that expresses personality traits like shyness, curiosity and aggression?

By mapping the relationship between sensor input and motor output, we can create the illusion of diverse personality traits where the robot appears to have fears, desires and curiosity. In this workshop, participants are guided through the steps of building an Arduino-based reactive robot. and then are encouraged to experiment with the sensor-actuator feedback loop to develop behaviors based on the personalities they define.
